Sturgeon Woman Uncovers $1,000 Prize

Story Photo A Sturgeon woman uncovered a $1,000 cash prize on a "Red Hot Cash" Scratchers game on Nov. 6. Betty Robinson, 72, said the money will be used for her and her husband, Bob’s, trip south. "We’re going to Arizona for the winter," she said. "This (winning) will help with our stay in Arizona." Robinson purchased her winning Lottery ticket at Collier Oil Company, Junction of Highways 63 & 22 in Sturgeon. "Red Hot Cash," a $2 game, officially went on sale Sept. 18.
