GAME SHOW WINNER SCRATCHES OFF $10,000

A Camdenton man’s lucky streak is still going strong after he scratched off $10,000 in the Missouri Lottery’s "Payday" instant game. Ed Oberdieck, 63, uncovered the game’s top prize Sunday on a ticket he purchased at J & D Super Stop in Greenview. The win came just days after Oberdieck won the $100,000 top prize in the "Fun & Fortune" game show’s "Missouri Multiplier" bonus round on March 6 for total winnings of $105,674. "I am lucky," Oberdieck said Monday, when he claimed his prize at the Jefferson City lottery office. "I only bought one of the $1 ’Payday’ tickets." Oberdieck, a retired electrical designer, plans to use his most recent winnings to put in the bank for "a rainy day." He may eventually use the money for a new pontoon boat.
