St. Peters Homemaker Wins $50,000 Playing Crossword

Playing crossword paid off for a 25-year-old St. Peters homemaker, who recently uncovered a $50,000 cash prize on a Missouri Lottery "Crossword" Scratchers ticket. Angela Cressey said she bought three Scratchers tickets on Sept. 22, when she stopped at Hucks Food Store in St. Peters.
"I’m planning to pay off bills and get a new car," said Cressey, who is the mother of two children, ages 3 and 5. "I’m talking about going to Vegas, because I’ve never been there."
The Missouri Lottery’s $3 "Crossword" game officially started April 24.
