$11.1 MILLION TRANSFERRED TO EDUCATION
The Missouri Lottery today transferred more than $11 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund to benefit public education. The March transfer of $11,112,599, based on lottery ticket sales in February, brings the total amount of revenues to education during fiscal year 1999 to more than $110 million.
Since lottery sales began 13 years ago, the lottery has provided the state, including education, with more than $1.3 billion.
