Story Photo

While visiting family in St. Louis this summer, Kiara Thomas’ mother convinced her to purchase a Lucky for Life ticket. Thomas matched all five white-ball numbers drawn in the June 13 drawing to win $25,000 a year for life. Thomas purchased the winning ticket at QuikTrip, 2600 Chouteau Ave. in St. Louis, and claimed her prize at the Missouri Lottery’s St. Louis office earlier this month.

The winning numbers for the June 13 drawing were 4, 5, 8, 10, 46, and the Lucky Ball was 5.

Lucky For Life is a $2 per play multi-state Draw Game that features a top prize of $1,000 a day for life and a second prize of $25,000 a year for life. Thomas joins 10 other Missouri Lottery players who have won the second-level prize of $25,000 a year for life since sales for the Draw Game began in 2015.

All current Missouri Lottery tickets can be scanned on the Lottery’s mobile app or on Check-A-Ticket machines at retail to determine if a ticket is a winner. Current and historical winning Draw Games numbers can also be found at MOLottery.com

In the most recent fiscal year, players in St. Louis City  won more than $40.3 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $4.1 million in commissions and bonuses, and an additional $10.1 million went to education programs in the county.
