Story Photo

A lucky customer of On the Run, 13553 Riverport Drive in Maryland Heights, recently purchased a Powerball ticket worth $50,000.

Bryan Gilmore’s ticket for the Aug. 24 Powerball drawing matched four of five white-ball numbers drawn, plus the Powerball, to win the third-largest Powerball base prize available. The winning numbers for the Aug. 24 drawing were 5, 12, 20, 21, 47, and the Powerball was 1.

The Florissant resident’s ticket is the 35th such ticket sold in Missouri this year.

Powerball is a multi-state Draw Game featuring jackpots that start at $40 million and grow until won. Drawings take place on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 9:59 p.m.
