Branson Man Maps Out $27,777 Win

A land surveyor in Branson mapped out a $27,777 win by buying five Missouri Lottery "Sapphire Blue 7’s" Scratchers tickets. Timothy "Tim" White, said he stopped in Phillips 66 Convenience Store, 2176 State Highway 248 in Branson on Aug. 12 after work. He bought five Scratchers tickets and took them home. When he scratched off the latex later that night, he found out that one ticket was worth $7 and one was worth $27,777.
"It’s Friday the 13th, but not for me," he mused when he claimed his prize on Aug. 13.
White said he plans to use his prize money to pay bills, help his mother and put the rest in the bank.
"Maybe I’ll buy another vehicle," he said.
"Sapphire Blue 7’s," a $2 Scratchers game, officially began on July 3.
