SPRINGFIELD MAN WINS $25,000
The luck of the Irish came a few days before St. Patrick’s Day for one Springfield man, when he won $25,000 tax paid* in Saturday night’s SHOW ME 5 drawing. Howard Foster, 34, said he will probably use the windfall to buy a newer car and a big screen television.
Foster purchased his winning ticket at Dillons, 2843 E. Sunshine in Springfield. He selected his lucky numbers at random on his $1 ticket. The winning numbers were: 7, 12, 15, 23 and 28.
To date, 702 SHOW ME 5 players have won $25,000 tax paid since the game began in November 1994.
