Missouri Lottery Offering Two Tickets To Paradise

Story Photo Someone who attends the Jefferson City "Salute to America" celebration this Fourth of July weekend will win two tickets to paradise, compliments of the Missouri Lottery. Anyone who buys $1 worth of Missouri Lottery tickets at the Lottery’s booth will receive an entry into the drawing for two tickets for four nights to an all-inclusive spot in the winner’s choice of Jamaica or Mexico, plus $200 cash. "It was a natural tie-in to the Eddie Money concert," said Gary Gonder, director of communications for the Missouri Lottery. "In addition to the cost of the prize, the Lottery will also pay the withholding taxes on the prize package." Players can buy tickets at the Lottery’s booth, located on the corner of Madison and High Streets, on Saturday between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m., or on Sunday, between 1:30 and 6:45 p.m. Entries must be deposited in the drum at the Lottery booth by 7 p.m. Sunday night. Players can enter as many times as they like; the winner does not have to be present to win. The drawing will take place right before the Eddie Money concert at 7:30 p.m. on the south side of the Capitol.
