Louisiana City Employee Gets $10,000 Wedding Windfall
A city of Louisiana employee was excited to discover that the Missouri Lottery "Super Cash" Scratchers ticket that he bought on June 24 was worth $10,000 cash. Ronnie Rue, 52, said he plans to use his prize money to pay bills.
"I’ll use it (prize money) towards my wedding on July 31," he said.
Rue, who is a park supervisor for the city of Louisiana, bought his winning ticket at Abel’s Quik Shop, 3305 Georgia in Louisiana.
"It’s really hard to believe," he said.
"Super Cash," a $5 Scratchers game, officially began April 24.
