Fulton Woman Has Lots Of Luck

Story Photo A Fulton woman can start looking for a place in the country after uncovering $10,000 on a Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket. Dulcy Keesler, 62, said she would like to use some of her prize money for a down payment on a place in the country. Keesler bought her winning ticket May 20, when she stopped in Short Stop, 601 Airway Drive in Fulton. Since there were seven different tickets, she bought one of each. She won a few dollars on those tickets, and bought seven more. One ticket from the second set of tickets, a $1 "Lots Of Luck" ticket, turned out to be a top-prize winner of $10,000. "I always scratch them (tickets) off in my car," she said. "That’s my lucky thing." Keesler, who retired from the state and currently works in security for the Dollar General Distribution Center in Fulton, said she also plans to pay a few bills with her prize money. "Lots Of Luck," a $1 Scratchers game, officially began on May 15.
