Camdenton Mechanic Ratchets Up $10,000 Prize

Story Photo A 19-year-old Camdenton marine mechanics’ ship came in on April 30 when his $5 Missouri Lottery "Super Cash" ticket turned out to be worth $10,000. Steve Clark said he made his usual lunch stop at K-4 Mini Mart in Camdenton that Friday, and while he was waiting for his lunch to be prepared, he noticed a woman bought some Scratchers tickets and didn’t win any prizes. So when she left, he bought two $2 tickets and one $5 ticket from the games she had played, and his $5 ticket turned out to be worth $10,000. "I usually play the $5 games because I have better luck on them," he said. Clark plans to use his windfall to buy a pre-owned Nissan 300 Z car and put the rest in the bank. "Super Cash," a $5 Scratchers game, officially began April 24.
