Story Photo A Fair Play woman is planning a shopping trip to Wal-Mart and to shoe stores after she uncovered a $10,000 top prize in the Missouri Lottery’s "Hot Cash" Scratchers game on April 16. Lillian "Jane" Conklin, 44, said she also plans to buy some new tires with the windfall. "It was a lot of fun and a lot of excitement," she said. "It is my entertainment." Conklin said she stops at Jessie’s Old Place in Stockton each Friday, which is her pay day, to talk with friends and buy a few Scratchers ticket. On April 16, she bought two $2 Scratchers tickets and three $1 "Hot Cash" tickets. The third one she scratched off was the $10,000 prize winner. Conklin, who is employed at Woods Super Market in Stockton, said she and her husband, Matt, also plan to pay some bills with the prize money and put most of it in savings. "Hot Cash," a $1 Scratchers game, officially began Oct. 11, 2003.
