Clifton Hill Man Wins $7,777

Story Photo A Clifton Hill man can start remodeling his house after he uncovered a $7,777 in the Missouri Lottery’s "Lucky 7’s" Scratchers game on April 5. George Shoemaker, 77, said he also plans to pay some bills with his prize money. "I’ve got plenty of places to put it (prize money)," said Shoemaker, a retired truck driver who drives a van for the Chariton Park Health Care Center in Salisbury. Shoemaker purchased his winning ticket at Riley’s Self Serv in Moberly. The Missouri Lottery’s $1 "Lucky 7’s" game officially started March 27.
