Lebanon Truck Driver Wins $10,000 Playing the Lottery

Story Photo A Lebanon truck driver hauled in $10,000 on March 13 after playing the Missouri Lottery’s "High Stakes" Scratchers game. George Speight, 36, said he stopped to get gas in his truck for a trip to Virginia when he bought just one Lottery ticket, which turned out to be a big winner. "I’ll take care of debts, but I’ll have a little fun, too," he said. Speight, who said he just started playing Lottery games a couple of months ago, purchased his winning ticket at B & D Auto Truck Plaza, 2031 W. Elm in Lebanon. "High Stakes," a $5 Scratchers game, officially began Feb. 26.
