Charles Zavoral acquired more than a bargain when he visited House of Bargains, 5505 Business 50 West in Jefferson City, in late September. Zavoral purchased a Missouri Lottery “Full of $500s” Scratchers ticket there that contained the game’s first top prize of $100,000.

“Full of $500s” first went on sale Sept. 24. The $5 ticket features more than $15 million in estimated prizes remaining, including four additional top prizes of $100,000 and three prizes of $20,000.

In the most recent fiscal year, players in Cole County won more than $11.9 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $1.1 million in commissions and bonuses, and an additional $3.3 million went to education programs in the county.
