CLARKTON MAN UNCOVERS $100,000 TAX-PAID

A 46-year-old Clarkton man got an early holiday gift when he scratched off $100,000 tax paid in the Missouri Lottery’s "Tax Paid $100,000 Cash" Scratchers game. Dannie Palmer said he’s not sure what he will do with the money. He plans to wait until he "sees it" to decide. Palmer purchased his winning ticket at Town & Country Super Market, 104 W. Highway 162 in Clarkton. He bought two $1 tickets and only one $3 "Tax Paid $100,000 Cash" ticket. That ticket turned out to be worth the game’s top prize. "I was shocked," Palmer said. "I think the store manager was more shocked than I was."
