Gilman City Couple Find Gold on St. Patrick's Day

Story Photo A Gilman City couple discovered they have the luck of the Irish when they purchased a $2 Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket and won $20,000 on St. Patrick?s Day. Lyndia and Roy Lovell purchased the winning ?Leprechaun Luck? Scratchers ticket today from Kum & Go, 3807 Miller St. in Bethany. ?I bought two $2 tickets and went back out the car to scratch them,? Lyndia Lovell said. ?I let Roy pick which one he wanted to scratch, and I took the other one.? Lyndia Lovell said she couldn?t believe it when she saw 10 prizes on the ticket, each worth $2,000. The Lovells said they plan to put their prize money in the bank for now, but they may also use some of it to help buy a newer car for Lyndia. ?Leprechaun Luck,? a $2 Scratchers game, officially began on Jan. 31.
