A St. Clair woman said she checked over and over again to make sure her Powerball ticket was really worth $50,000.
Charlene Farny purchased the ticket the day of the drawing on June 23, at Country Fresh Market Place, 925 Plaza Drive, in St. Clair. Her ticket matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball number drawn that night: 16, 29, 43, 45, 56 and the Powerball number was 25.

Powerball is a $2 per play multi-state Draw Game that features jackpots starting at $40 million. Powerball drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m.
