MARSHFIELD WOMAN LIVES UP TO LAST NAME

A Marshfield woman lived up to her last name when she scratched off $100,000 in the Missouri Lottery’s "Season’s Greetings" Scratchers game. Glendia Winner said she’ll use some of the windfall to buy Christmas presents. Winner purchased the winning ticket Friday at Reed’s General #1, 185 State Highway W in Marshfield, when she stopped for gas. "Season’s Greetings" is the Missouri Lottery’s first $5 instant game ticket, which folds like a holiday greeting card. The game features six games on a ticket with a chance to win between $5 and $100,000. More than 68 percent of the game’s sales will be returned to players as prizes.
