Lottery Transfers $19.1 Million To Education Fund

The Missouri Lottery today sent $19.1 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education. Today’s monthly proceeds transfer of $19,155,929 is based on ticket sales in January.

To date, the Missouri Lottery has generated more than $2.1 billion in proceeds for the state, including education, since ticket sales started in January 1986.

Promotion Game Pieces To Expire Soon

Missouri Lottery players have until March 10 to redeem winning stubs and prizes from the three Scratchers games used in the summer "Dog Gone Lucky" promotion. The three games – "Lucky the Dog," "Hot Diggity Dog" and "Summer of Luck" – all officially ended on Sept. 12, 2003, and players have exactly 180 days to redeem prizes from those games, including the promotional game-board pieces.
