Richland Vet Wins $3,000 In Lottery Game

A disabled Army veteran from Richland has some extra money to pay for recent repairs on his house after he won $3,000 playing the Missouri Lottery’s "24K" Scratchers game. David Quern, 56, said he put some of the repairs on a credit card, and he plans to pay a credit card off with the prize money.
Quern bought his winning ticket on Valentine’s Day at Ramey Super Market, 550 N. Jefferson in Lebanon.
The Missouri Lottery’s $2 "24K" Scratchers game officially started Sept. 13, 2003.
