St. Peters Man Wins $100,000 Playing Powerball

Story Photo A 64-year-old St. Peters man is planning to remodel his house and take a little vacation to Mississippi, where he used to live, with the $100,000 prize he won playing Powerball on Feb. 7. Braxton Barnett said he used some birthdays to pick the winning numbers on his ticket. Those numbers were: 31, 34, 35, 39 and 46. Barnett, who retired from the Fenton Chrysler plant last September, bought his winning ticket Feb. 7 at Jungerman Mobil, 200 Jungerman Road in St. Peters. To date, 681 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the $100,000 prize.
