St. Louis Electrician Wins $100,000 In Powerball

Story Photo An electrician from St. Louis (63126*) was shocked to find out his $1 Powerball ticket for the Jan. 17 drawing was worth $100,000. Mark Miller, 42, said he bought just a $1 Powerball ticket using Quick Pick when he stopped for gas at the Site Store, 9931 Highway 66 in Crestwood. All five white-ball numbers drawn on Jan. 17 matched his, bringing him the second-level prize. Miller said he and his wife, Cathy, plan to invest their money in the stock market. To date, 675 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the $100,000 prize. * winner’s zip code to help media determine coverage area
