A 43-year-old Perkins woman is $25,000 richer after matching all five numbers drawn in the Missouri Lottery’s SHOW ME 5 game on Nov. 26. Patricia Brown said she plans to pay off bills with the windfall. "I did put a little in savings," Brown told lottery officials on Thursday. Brown purchased her winning ticket at Break Time, Highway 77 and Route E in Chaffee. She let the computer select the numbers a long time ago, and she has been playing those same numbers ever since. The winning numbers were: 4, 12, 17, 21 and 27. Since SHOW ME 5 began in 1994, 808 tickets worth $25,000 tax paid* have been sold in Missouri. * Twenty-eight percent federal and 4 percent state taxes are withheld from the total prize amount of $36,764.70 to provide $25,000 cash at the time of redemption. Depending on personal income, winners may owe additional taxes for the prize, or they may receive a refund.
