Story Photo A Hannibal homemaker found $1,000 extra spending money when she uncovered the prize in the Missouri Lottery’s "Fun & Fortune" Scratchers game. Kimberly "Kim" Nelson, 32, said she stopped in Pick-A-Dilly Quik Stop 1, 1910 Market in Hannibal on March 21 to buy a soda, to cash in a $5 winning lottery ticket and to buy five tickets from her favorite game, "Fun & Fortune." While scratching them at home later that day, she discovered that one ticket was worth $1,000. Nelson and her husband, Bradley, said they plan to use the money for an upcoming bowling tournament trip to Columbia in April. They also plan to buy their youngest son a new bike. "Fun & Fortune" is the 372nd Scratchers game offered by the Missouri Lottery. The $1 game, which gives players the chance to win cash and a seat on the weekly televised game show, officially started on Aug. 25, 2001.
