ARKANSAS MAN EXPANDS CHRISTMAS ACCOUNT

Story Photo A Bentonville, Ark., man is adding money to his Christmas account after matching all five white-ball numbers in the Nov. 8 Powerball drawing and winning $100,000. Larry Jackson, 62, said he and his wife, Sue, will put some of the prize money in savings, and they’ll invest some winnings. "We might spend a few more dollars for Christmas," he said. Jackson purchased his winning ticket at Don’s Stateline Store in Pineville. He used Quick Pick to select the winning numbers. They were: 5, 8, 24, 38 and 52. To date, 669 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the $100,000 prize.
