OWENSVILLE ELECTRICIAN UNCOVERS $7,777

A 22-year-old electrician from Owensville lit up after discovering his "Quick 7’s" Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket was worth the game’s top prize of $7,777. Chris Simpson said he and his girlfriend went to Taco Bell in Owensville for a late dinner on Oct. 15. While there, they walked into the Break Time portion of the co-op store and bought two Scratchers tickets. The first one was a $4 winner, and the second one was the $7,777 winner.
Simpson said he might put some of his prize money towards a new truck.
"Quick 7’s," a $1 Scratchers game, officially went on sale Aug. 23.
