Story Photo An Arkansas man who bought a Powerball ticket on his way through Missouri is now $100,000 richer. David Martin, 42, of Salesville, Ark., said he bought his ticket on Oct. 9 at Jarvis Station & Grocery in Caulfield on his way to a vacation in Illinois. He and his wife, Nina, didn’t find out the ticket was a winner until they drove back through Missouri on their way home on Oct. 13. "My wife was going crazy," Martin said, when he explained their reaction at a retail location upon learning of their prize. The couple, whom own and operate the Norfolk Café in Norfolk, Ark., said they plan to use their prize money to pay bills, put some in savings and pay off Nina’s truck loan. "We’ll probably take a trip to Germany to visit our daughter and son-in-law," he said. "He is stationed over there with the Air Force." To date, 666 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the $100,000 prize.
