BALLWIN WOMAN WINS TRIP TO VEGAS
A real estate agent from Ballwin is planning to see some "new properties" after winning a trip to Las Vegas in the Missouri Lottery’s new "$100,000 Vegas Money" Scratchers game. Amber Wells, 34, said she bought two of the $5 Scratchers tickets on Aug. 19 when she stopped in Cross’s Self Serve, 15302 Manchester Road in Ballwin, for a soda.Wells said she has never been to Las Vegas. She plans to go with her husband, Ed.
"$100,000 Vegas Money" officially started on Aug. 23 and offers players the chance to win one of 50 trips to Las Vegas and up to $100,000 cash.
The Las Vegas travel packages include a 4-day, 3-night trip for two to Las Vegas, round-trip airfare, a choice of deluxe hotel accommodations, hotel ground transfers to and from the airport and $500 spending money. The Missouri Lottery also will pay 25 percent of federal and 4 percent of state withholding taxes based on the total trip prize value.
