Trauschke, who is a production supervisor for Swisher Mowers, purchased his qualifying ticket at Break Time, 318 W. Broadway in Sedalia.
Three other wheel spin contestants spun and won $10,000 in today’s drawing. They are Kory Beckley of Eagle Rock, Becky Walters of St. Charles and Shirley Swanson of Deepwater.
Beckley, 44, a store clerk, said he plans to use some of his $10,000 prize money to pay for siding for his home. He purchased his qualifying ticket at Uncle Roy’s in Eagle Rock, where he works.
Walters, 26, said she plans to take her daughter shopping with some of her $10,000 prize winnings. She also plans to take a trip to Branson with her husband, Eric, and to buy her son a toddler bed shaped like a fire engine. A legal secretary, Walters purchased her qualifying ticket at Fisca Oil in St. Charles.
Swanson, 54, also plans to take her daughter shopping with her $10,000 prize money, along with paying off some of her new car and paying for an upcoming trip to Idaho. Swanson, a retired real estate and insurance broker, bought her qualifying ticket at Osage Mini Mart in Warsaw.
A fifth contestant, Cathy Cocherell, 49, of Farmington, Iowa, won $2,500 in the wheel spin. She said she plans to share her prize with her mother. She also plans to use some prize money on an upcoming trip to Osage Beach with some friends. Cocherell, a receptionist, purchased her qualifying ticket at Ayerco in Alexandria.
A total of $57,500 in prizes was awarded during the event. In addition to the prize money won through the actual Wheel Spin event, the contestants each received a check for $500 for being selected as a finalist.
