Story Photo Back-to-school shopping won’t be nearly as stressful this fall for one mother of four from Crane after she uncovered a $30,000 prize on a Missouri Lottery "Luck of the Dice" Scratchers ticket.   Ashley Jones, 26, said some of her prize money will help buy school clothes and supplies for her four children, which range in age from 2 to 7.

Jones, a homemaker, said she bought three Scratchers tickets on July 25 when she stopped in Country Mart, 18128 Highway 13 in Branson West, to do some grocery shopping.   She scratched the tickets off in the car and discovered one was worth $20, one was worth $30 and the third one was worth $30,000.

"It was my lucky day," she said.   "I’ve got four kids, so it was really cool."

Jones said she and her husband, Todd, also plan to buy some land with the prize money.

"Luck of the Dice," the Missouri Lottery’s 405th Scratchers game, official went on sale March 30, 2002.
