"My family thought it was a fake," she said when she collected her prize at the Springfield Lottery office on July 3. “They made me swear I was telling them the truth.”
Nothnagle, who currently lives in a mobile home with her husband and two children, said they planned to use the money towards building a new home.
“My kids are tired of sharing a room,” she said.
