Washington Man Claims $50,000 Four Months Later

Story Photo

David Steinberg claimed a $50,000 Powerball ticket at the Lottery office in St. Louis on May 24, four months after his win on Jan. 6. The numbers on the Washington resident’s ticket matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball number. The winning numbers for the Jan. 6 drawing were 12, 29, 30, 33, 61 and the Powerball number was 26. He purchased his winning ticket at Circle K, 408 S. Highway 185, in Sullivan.
Steinberg’s late claim is a good reminder to always check any unclaimed Lottery tickets. Check all current and past winning numbers at MOLottery.com or scan tickets using the Official App of the Missouri Lottery.
Powerball is a $2 per play multi-state Draw Game that features jackpots starting at $40 million. Powerball drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m.
