A Boonville man bought one $2 Missouri Lottery “Instant Monopoly” ticket and he is now $1,000 richer. William “Bill” Overshiner, 63, said he usually buys $1 tickets, but on May 28, he decided to buy a $2 ticket. “I’ll probably put it in savings,” he said.
Overshiner, who works at Shryack/Givens Wholesale Grocers in Boonville, purchased his winning ticket at IGA, 1004 Main in Boonville.
“Instant Monopoly” officially went on sale on Feb. 1.
