$100,000 Scratchers Prize Won in Truman Building Cafeteria

As home to many state offices, the Truman Building in Jefferson City sees its fair share of routine activity. But there’s nothing routine about walking out of the cafeteria with $100,000 more than you had when you walked in.

That’s what happened to Kathryn Watson of Holts Summit. On Nov. 6, she purchased a "Jumbo Cash" ticket in the building’s Harry’s Place Cafeteria and then uncovered one of the game’s $100,000 top prizes.

Watson claimed her prize the following day at Lottery headquarters. Her win marks the third $100,000 prize claimed in the game so far.

"Jumbo Cash" is a $5 ticket that officially went on sale June 26. It offers more than $5.7 million in remaining prizes – including two more top prizes of $100,000 and two $20,000 prizes.
