NEWBURG MAIL CARRIER FINDS $50,000

Story Photo A mail carrier picked up $50,000 on a Missouri Lottery “Crossword” Scratchers ticket she recently bought at the Do Drop In Convenience, Highway 63 South in Rolla.   Danna Yelton, 35, of Newburg said she bought three of the “Crossword” tickets, and the third one was the big winner.

“It’ll make my life easier,” she said.

Yelton said she plans to use the prize money to pay off some bills, including a car loan.   She also may take a vacation.

The Missouri Lottery’s $3 "Crossword" game officially started Oct. 12, 2002.
