A Barnhart man can start planning an outdoor adventure after his name was drawn today in the Missouri Lottery’s third and final “Second Chance of a Lifetime: Summer Parks Sensation” promotional drawing. Mark Konersman can choose from three National Park destinations: Haleakala National Park in Maui, Hawaii; Grand Canyon National Park in Flagstaff, Arizona; or Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. All trips include airfare for four, ground transportation, a seven-day/six-night luxury stay, $2,000 spending cash, and an additional allowance for food and excursions.

“These are wonderful grand prizes to choose from,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery. “He could go as far away as Hawaii or stay here in the mainland and see the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone.”

In addition to the top-prize winner, Sherry Cazzell of Lawson and Karen Nevills of Union were drawn as winners for their choice of a trip from among six in-state locations, including Bennett Spring State Park in Eminence and Table Rock State Park in Branson.

Another 10 entrants’ names were drawn today to win $1,000 cash, taxes paid. They are: Gregory Abbott of Spanish Lake, Paul Baumeister of St. Louis, Thomas Byrne of Ballwin, Joseph Cothren of Neosho, Todd Greife of Raytown, Lara Ledbetter of Hannibal, Gerald Miller of Independence, Michael Nance of Raytown, Kent Nelson of Lee’s Summit, and Stacy Weaver of Battlefield. All prizes are taxes paid.
