Though last night’s second-largest Powerball jackpot was won on a single ticket sold in Massachusetts, Missouri Lottery players collected more than $7.1 million in prizes since the jackpot was last won on June 10.

“Three Missouri Powerball players won $1 million prizes and another 17 players won $50,000 prizes during this jackpot run,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery.
In all, 169,551 ticket holders in Missouri won a combined $1,030,902 last night, including three tickets worth $50,000 for matching four white-ball numbers and the Powerball. The $50,000 prizes were sold at:

• Dierbergs, 421 Lafayette Center, Manchester
• Shop ‘N Save, 60 Havester Square in St. Charles
• Gary’s Amoco, 13015 State Line Road in Kansas City
“The biggest winner was public education, which will receive approximately $12.6 million in profits from Powerball sales from this jackpot run alone,” said Reardon. “Missouri businesses also earned more than $1.5 million from selling Powerball tickets during this run.”

Reardon said players should remember to check their tickets closely, since they might have won one of the seven other prizes in the game.

The winning numbers from last night’s drawing were:  6, 7, 16, 23, 26 and the Powerball number was 4. Players have exactly 180 days from the drawing – until Feb. 19, 2018, in this case – to claim their prizes.

In addition to three $50,000 Powerball prizes, the Missouri Lottery also sold a winning Show Me Cash jackpot last night, which was worth $384,000. That ticket was sold at Stockham’s Gas Mart, 11845 County Road CC, in Festus.
