Due to strong ticket sales, the Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night’s drawing has been raised from an estimated $650 million to an estimated $700 million, the second-largest jackpot prize ever offered in Powerball, as well as the second largest among all lottery jackpots in North America. The cash option for tomorrow night’s jackpot is now $443.3 million.

"Even if you don’t win the big jackpot, you may win one of eight other prizes," said May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery. "Just this past Saturday, we had two $1 million prize winners and four $50,000 winners right here in Missouri."

Reardon also reminds players to sign the backs of tickets immediately and keep them in a safe place.

"It only takes one ticket to win," she added. "So have fun, but please play responsibly."

Players have until 8:59 p.m. Wednesday night to purchase Powerball tickets in Missouri.

A fact sheet about this jackpot, as well as group play information, is available at MOLottery.com.
