NURSE'S AIDE WINS $100,000 INSTANTLY

A stop for coffee before work brought a St. Louis woman $100,000 cash.   Ida Calvin, 58, of St. Louis (63120*) said she went into Energy 1315 Phillips 66, 1409 Chambers Road in St. Louis, on April 30 for coffee and while she was there, she decided to buy one $5 Scratchers ticket from the Missouri Lottery’s “Big Money” instant game.  That ticket ended up being worth $100,000.

“I was shocked,” she said.   “I just bought one (ticket)!”

Calvin, who is a nurse’s aide, said she plans to use her winnings to buy a house.

"Big Money," a $5 Scratchers game, officially went on sale April 26.
