LAMAR MAN WINS $100,000 POWERBALL PRIZE

A Lamar man is $100,000 richer after matching all five white-ball numbers drawn in the April 26 Powerball drawing.  Charles Burchett, 52, purchased his winning ticket at Eastside Amoco, 1008 E. 12^th St. in Lamar.  He let the computer pick his winning numbers.  They were:  5, 11, 13, 22 and 36.

Burchett, a supervisor for a wire manufacturer, said he plans to use the money to pay bills. 

To date, 645 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the $100,000 prize.
