Retired Teacher Chalks Up Lottery Win To Father

Story Photo

When Craig Robinson purchased a “$100,000 Jackpot” Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket, he had feeling that “something’s going to happen.” Robinson, a former physical education teacher, retired to care for his elderly father, who passed away earlier this year. When he purchased his ticket on April 20, his good karma paid off when he uncovered the top prize of $100,000.

“I had been caring for my dad for some time,” he shared. “I have a feeling he probably helped.”

Robinson, 61, purchased his winning ticket at Black Jack Liquor, 12420 Old Halls Ferry Road, in Black Jack.

Robinson, of Florissant, said his winnings are “going straight to the bank.”

"$100,000 Jackpot” is a $5 ticket that features two sides to play and top prizes of $100,000.
