SEDALIA MAN NETS $1,000 INSTANT WIN

A Sedalia man made a quick $1,000 Saturday when he stopped by Break Time, 2603 E. Broadway in Sedalia, to buy a Dr. Pepper.   While buying the soft drink, Ronald Christopher, 47, decided to buy three Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets.  One of the tickets, "Ten Grand," proved to be worth $1,000.

Christopher said he planned to share most of the prize with his wife, Judy, but added that he planned to stop by Bass Pro on his way home to pick up a few extra fishing supplies.

"Ten Grand," a $1 Scratchers game, officially went on sale Dec. 22, 2001.
