Story Photo

Three St. Louis area residents are splitting a $50,000 Missouri Lottery Powerball prize from the March 11 drawing. James Bader of Marthasville, Eric Johnson of St. Louis, and Scott Beckham of Imperial claimed their $50,000 prize on March 14. The trio’s ticket matched four out of five white-balls and the Powerball – 1, 26, 41, 50 and 57 with a Powerball of 11 – awarding them the $50,000 prize, which they plan to split equally

The group purchased their winning ticket from Schnucks Market, 8200 N. Lindbergh Blvd., in Florissant. The Schnucks Market location previously sold a Show Me Cash ticket worth $108,000 in 2015.

Powerball is a $2 per play multi-state Draw Game that features jackpots starting at $40 million. Powerball drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Research all current and past winning numbers at MOLottery.com.
