Powerball has been a player-favorite Missouri Lottery Draw Game for nearly 25 years. In fact, since Oct. 2015, 87 players have won prizes of more than $50,000 for matching four white-ball numbers and the Powerball number. Terry Paige, 67, is the fourth such player in the Kansas City area to win a $50,000 prize since the New Year began.

Paige purchased his winning ticket for the Feb. 18 drawing from Blue Ridge Smoke Shop, 5220 Blue Ridge Cut-Off in Raytown, and used Quick Pick to select his winning numbers, which were: 3, 7, 9, 31 and 33 with a Powerball of 20. Three other Kansas City area residents from Blue Springs, Independence, and Olathe, Kansas, have also claimed $50,000 Powerball prizes since Jan. 1.

Powerball is a $2 per play multi-state Draw Game that features jackpots starting at $40 million. Powerball drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Research all current and past winning numbers at MOLottery.com.
