A City of St. Louis forestry supervisor had been pining for a big Lottery win for years and finally saw green when she won $100,000. Mary Lambert, St. Louis, won the top prize on a “20X The Cash” Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket. Lambert claimed her prize on Feb. 15.

“I almost had a stroke,” Lambert explained after realizing her big win. “The first thing I did was call my daughter.”

Lambert, 65, purchased her winning ticket at Energy Express, 710 Russel Blvd., in St. Louis.

“I will pay off my truck, pay some bills, and maybe take a trip to Vegas,” she added.

"20X The Cash" is a $5 ticket with more than $12.7 million in prizes remaining, including four $100,000 top prizes.
