JOHNSON COUNTY TEACHER GETS $10,000 MONEYBAG

Story Photo A special education teacher for the Johnson County R-7 school district recently uncovered a $10,000 prize in the Missouri Lottery’s "Moneybags" Scratchers game.   Carol Porter, 52, of Chilhowee said on March 31, she bought two $1 "Moneybags" tickets at Breakplace in Warrensburg.  She scratched them off in her car and discovered one was worth the top prize of $10,000.

"I’m going to buy a new computer," she said.   "I might get a new sewing machine, too."

Porter said she also plans to pay some bills with her winnings.

The Missouri Lottery’s $1 "Moneybags" game officially started Dec. 25, 2002.
