ANOTHER BIG PRIZE WON IN JEFFERSON CITY

Story Photo A Jefferson City man is now truck shopping after winning a $25,000 prize in the Missouri Lottery’s "Monopoly" Scratchers game.   Ron Clemmons, 41, said he was redeeming $8 worth of winning lottery tickets on March 25 when he decided to add $2 to his winnings and buy five of the $2 "Monopoly" tickets.  The third ticket turned out to be worth the game’s top prize of $25,000.

Clemmons, who is a maintenance worker, purchased his winning ticket at Apache Flats Market, 5515 Highway 50 W. in Jefferson City.

During the past week, three other large prizes have been sold at Jefferson City lottery retailers.   On March 23, Fred McKinney of Jefferson City won $25,000 in the Scratchers game "25 Grand."  He purchased his winning ticket at West Gate Lanes.  On March 20, Shayna Knatcal of Jefferson City won $30,000 in the Scratchers game "Casino Nights," which she purchased at Schultes Fresh Foods.  On March 18, Bob Hohenstreet of Jefferson City won $1,000 on a "Moneybags" Scratchers ticket he purchased at West Gate Lanes.
