Group Purchase Leads to $50,000 Powerball Prize In Florissant

Nov. 18, 2022

A group of 10 Missouri Lottery players have split a $50,000 Powerball prize won on a ticket purchased at Patterson Phillips 66, 2885 Patterson Road, in Florissant. The ticket matched four of five white-ball numbers drawn, plus the Powerball, in the Nov. 7 drawing.

The winning numbers were: 10, 33, 41, 47, and 56. The Powerball was 10.

The Missouri Lottery website offers a section of helpful group play tips for those looking to pool their resources together to buy lottery tickets. Forms for player lists, winning numbers and jackpot flyers are also provided to help disseminate information among the group.

Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is estimated at $93 million. If the Powerball jackpot is hit, the “Jackpot Reset” promotion will be activated – giving players who buy three Powerball plays on a single ticket a free $2 Powerball ticket.

In FY22, players in St. Louis County won more than $205.1 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $19.5 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $39 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
